As the owners of the Town Center at Lake Forest Park, we take the safety and health of the Lake Forest Park community, businesses, and our customers seriously. On our retail-focused website, we recently shared what we are doing to maintain a safe environment for our shoppers and employees.
• Town Center at Lake Forest Park has closed most of its operations. Staff removed most chairs and tables required for dining and gathering, and a number of restaurants are shifting operations to to-go orders only.
• We are working with our housekeeping vendor to increase the frequency and intensity of cleaning and disinfecting high traffic and highly touchable areas within the center per the CDC guidelines on workplace cleanliness.
• We continue to monitor the situation and the local and federal government’s response. If there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 at the shopping center, we will alert the community and work with local, state and federal health officials to ensure an appropriate plan is in place to help diminish the spread of the virus.
We commend the City of Lake Forest Park’s effort to slow the spread of the virus by postponing City Council and Planning Commission meetings. When discussions resume, we’ll continue to stay engaged in the conversation about the future of the Town Center of Lake Forest Park.
Our hope is this temporary inconvenience will help keep the community safe as we navigate this new reality.
